About

CELIA MCCARTHY,
INTERIOR DESIGNER

Richardson Studio is an interior design practice based in Bath and led by creative director and founder, Celia McCarthy. The studio's aim is to create spaces that are a joy to be in; blending a clean-lined, modern aesthetic with playful flourishes, be they uplifting colour, textured materials or standout pieces of ceramics or art.

The end goal is always to make people feel inspired and comfortable within the space they inhabit.

Increasingly the focus of Richardson Studio is to highlight eco-aware design solutions;

championing the ever-growing family of brilliant sustainable interiors brands and always utilising ethical materials and energy saving design wherever possible. This interweaves with a passion for teaching and working closely with the next generation of design talent both within universities and more informal interiors workshops.
