Reconfiguring this end of terrace Victorian property meant we could play with having light and spacious lower ground floor living areas contrasting with cosy reading and TV rooms. Making all the spaces work to their maximum potential was a challenge I relished on this project, alongside incorporating original features and new textural accessories.
“We have used Celia twice to help completely renovate our Georgian townhouse in Islington and then our house in Poole. Both were very different briefs and we were delighted with both outcomes.”
“In London we needed to renovate a 3 story Georgian townhouse. It had awkward spaces, a bedroom on the lower ground floor and a middle ‘ formal’ living room that we just never used. The space was underutilized and with a new baby coming we need more space and a better use of space.
We were unable to extend any further due to strict conservation rules. Celia understood our requirements and helped reshape the house so that we had a new fantastic family space with so much light and all the utilities carefully hidden away. The never used formal area became the bedroom for guests from the lower floor and a warm snug which we used and allowed guests their own space. We were delighted with the changes and what Celia did for us. ”
“We then had Celia renovate and extend ( with an Architect) our house which was on the beach. Although it wasn’t old it was badly planned in that it was dark for its outlook and the design inside very generic. Celia helped to design a beautiful new extension incorporated into our main house with a slick design all aimed at all maximizing the view of the water. Celia planned all areas like our bespoke kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the final design and couldn’t thank her enough.”
